The 3 tunnels ride will start in Emlenton and go thru the Rockland and Kennerdell tunnels and then up to the Sandy Creek trail for one more. About a 50 mile total at a mid /mod pace. We will have to go thru a small section of gravel road. If you only want to do 2 tunnels (about 25 total), that's fine. Want to go to Oil City ( 60+ miles) thats fine too.
When you get to Emlenton, go across the bridge and make a left and look for the trail sign.
Don't forget your light, and bring enough water and snacks. No place to get any on the trail.

Emphasis will be on the identification, beauty, function, danger and diversity of our local mushrooms. The goal is to learn not harvest, and to help preserve the Poland Municipal Forest as a wonderful natural enclave.
