Poland Forest Mushroom Walk
About this event
Join the Friends of Poland Forest and mushroom expert Sarra Mohn to learn fun facts about fungi while exploring several parts of the Forest. Emphasis will be on the identification, beauty, function, danger and diversity of our local mushrooms. The goal is to learn not harvest, and to help preserve the Poland Municipal Forest as a wonderful natural enclave. <br /><br />The Mushroom Walk begins 10 AM Saturday September 25 at the College Street entrance to the Forest.
